BIG NEWS: Kathy Puffer's "Succeed with Small-Scale Biogas" course: November 30, 2022

When we think about biogas and waste management, we usually think of large scale biodigesters that handle organic waste from entire cities. Imagine bringing the energy and fertilizer from biodigesters directly to your home and community centers.  Now there’s a way to do just that: Kathy Puffer’s in-depth training course Succeed with Small-Scale Biogas

Kathy is a professional educator who is also a certified permaculture designer and teacher who has specialized in biogas design and education. She’s spent over 6 years teaching hands-on in the U.S., Belize, and in Haiti; in the field, in Universities, with learners of all ages. Since COVID, she’s also been teaching online. She knows how to make learning accessible and engaging!

Kathy is passionate about small-scale biogas because it enables her to produce her own energy and fertilizer, which has taken her homesteading to a whole new level of resilience and self-sufficiency while also reducing her family’s carbon footprint.

Other biogas courses focus on technological info about biogas only. Kathy shows you how to design your biogas system for your unique context and use case, and integrate it into a Whole Systems design.  She will help you get your system up and running quickly, without all the usual trial-and-error that comes with DIY.

This is the real deal! Focusing on super practical applications of biogas at the home and community scale, wherever you live on planet Earth.

The next Succeed with Small-Scale Biogas cohort starts Nov 30.  This program includes a 12-module course, workbook, and bi-weekly live coaching sessions, so you can apply everything you learn. The aim of the course is for you to actually actually get your system running! And, since working with biogas is learning how to tend your “herd” of methane-producing microbes, you also remain a member of our online community for a year, so you have the best conditions for success.

The course runs only twice per year. For this cohort, enrollment is open Nov 13-28.

The course is super affordable, at $150 for individuals, and $200 for households (i.e., Two adults in the same house, and up to 3 minor children. You share one login account.)

There’s is a 20% discount for early birds who sign up before Nov 18

See all the details at https://www.biogaseducation.com. Look for “SIGN UP HERE” to fill in your contact info, and Kathy will send you an email so you can be the first to hear when doors open for registration.
