WHY ARC?

Sustainable resilience.

Sustainable development is not a spectator sport. The natural environment that nurtures and sustains us is affected by the way we live within it, individually and in our communities.

Today, more than any time before in history, we have access to collaboration tools that are better in supporting our capacities to find, share and deliver development pathways that are in balance with natural systems and create harmony with each other - no matter where we are in the world.

What we do.

ARC delivers sustainable infrastructure that is total harmony with the natural environment that sustains us all.

With the overall objective of universal access to energy, food and tenancy security for all, we develop strategies that support community resilience, supported by distribution systems (people, goods, information) to effectively deliver resources to communities, when and where they are needed.

Resilient at every scale and in harmony with nature, the infrastructure of the future is based on local renewable energy solutions.

Our Values.

We complete our professional commitments together: as a team, governed by the mission, on time, within budget and to the high quality standards required for durable, resilient solutions.

We seek to rapidly advance, through research, development, demonstration and delivery, the concepts and applications that characterize sustainable development - resiliency at every scale, in harmony with nature.

How we work.

If the infrastructure of the future provides all people with access to security and opportunity, irrespective of race, gender, economic status, nationality, sexual orientation, age or ability, then the teams that develop that infrastructure must be similarly representative - or risk missing critical perspectives.

ARC teams continuously seek common-sense, affordable solutions that promote, endorse and encourage sustainable and renewable solutions to the problems of energy and food security at local and regional scales.

We see the opportunity behind every challenge and keep working until we succeed. We are not constrained by size, or what others see as practical reality. We choose to do hard things because we’re passionate about what we do and because others choose not to.

We also volunteer our time where it can make the most sustainable difference: creating and deploying hands-on skills building programs in under-served communities; supporting industry, academic and trade organizations that actively contribute to sustainability research and training; working with groups and individuals within our communities to promote best practices in design, engineering and overall sustainable development.

Our professionals maintain LEED AP, Certified Passive House Consultant, ISI ENV, Professional Engineer (PE), AIA, Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and other pertinent credentials.
