Call for Contact Tracers for Santa Clara County Case Investigation and Contact Tracing Partnership

We received the following call for assistance from the Silicaon Valley Leadership Group, which we are sharing via ARC’s blog and facebook:

“As the COVID-19 pandemic has unfolded, we've all learned a new set of words and phrases. At the center of this message is a phrase I'm sure we have all read about a lot about recently: Contact tracing.

Contact tracing is the process of identification of persons who may have come into contact with an infected person and subsequent collection of further information about these contacts. In order to see the end of the pandemic and reopen the economy, a large amount of contact tracing is a key requirement by Public Health Officers throughout the region.

At this time we are passing along job descriptions for potential Contact tracers and adjacent staff in response to the covid-19 pandemic, in partnership with the Santa Clara County Public Health Department and County of Santa Clara Emergency Operations Center.

The jobs include:

  • Contact Tracers

  • CICT Clinicians

  • CICT Team Leads

  • CICT Data Entry Specialists

You can find job descriptions for the open positions as well here or on the Santa Clara County Public Health Department's website. The County is in need of nearly 1,000 tracers and adjacent staff in order to track and treat cases within the County.

REQUESTPlease share the open positions with your company's HR department. If able, please identify potential employees in your volunteer networks. If we can help the County secure the 1,000 Contact tracer staff they need, we can better control the spread of the virus, minimize the pandemic, and reopen our economy more safely, quickly and effectively.

In order to safely reopen the economy, it is vital that the County in which many of us operate and call home is fully staffed to meet this need.”
